Winter 2008: In the last days a lot of snow has fallen down in Ahrntal. In the valley we register 20 cm and on the mountains 60 cm fresh snow.

Summer 2010: Open from t5th may until end of october!!
Just a couple of minutes and you will be on the peak, nearer to the sky: summits, glaciers, joy...

2th International Snow Sculpture Festival in Ahrntal

Fresh snow from the surrounding, barbed wire, saws and a scoop are part of their tool kits, rubber boots, earflaps and gloves are the most important items :-).
From 9th to 14th January 2011 more than 10 artists from all over the world will meet at Ahrntal, where they will sculpture amazing pieces of art out of enormous snow cubes!

The result of their 3-day work in the freezing air of January will be amazing snow sculptures, which can be admired by inhabitants and visitors.

Enjoy this festival and admire the great pieces of art!
