“South Tyrol Cooks” at the Kristallalm restaurant on the Klausberg

These days, eating is no longer a matter of pure sustenance – food has become a way of life. With this in mind, the “South Tyrol Cooks” foodie pit stop, which has chosen rustic and authentic as its theme, will be held on 18th June 2017 from 11 a.m. at the Kristallalm restaurant on the Klausberg.
Andreas Fehrle, Head Chef at the Kristallalm, and Martin Mairhofer from Cookart will explain in the designer kitchen of the South Tyrolean manufacturer “Das Ganze Leben" how to make “Graukäse-Knödel” (Tyrolean grey cheese dumplings) with pork drippings or the traditional “Bauerngeröstl” (sautéed farmers’ hash) with spices by Aromica. Thomas Volgger, Junior Chef at "Goasroscht", a goat’s cheese dairy in Kematen/Caminata, will be the special guest. Together with Frank Röhrig from Kristallalm, cheese and wine pairings will be offered during every course from aperitif to dessert.

Our host, Silvia Fontanive, will guide us through the casual foodie pit stop in two languages and interview the chefs and special guests.
